Description of Work:To excavate a shaft and tunnel system 12 feet deep into the roof of Porter Sq. MBTA Station for new elevator system.

Description of Work:Excavate and Backfill for new transformer pad. The work also included approximatley 500 feet of new electrical pipe. Excavate and dispose of hazardous Material.

Description of Work:Install Electrical Duct Banks.

Description of Work:To repair broken sewer laterals and mains. To repair unknown sinkholes.

Description of Work:To repair broken sewer mains, laterals and unknown sinkholes.

11. Florence Street Culvert Repair:11-May11-Jun, City of MelroseCity of Melrose

Description of Work:Remove and replace approximatly 50 feet of drain culvert. Also remove and replace approximatly 25 feet of 8″ PVC sewer main and 25 feet of 6″ Ductile Iron. Water Main

Description of Work:Demolition of on-ramp from Bridge Street to RT. 114, relocation of drainage, telecom, sewer for new building site. Removed and disposed of hazardous soils.

 

13. Fall River CSO Project8-Feb9-May, CDMCity of Fall River

Description of Work:The second phase to project 2A-2.7 is construction of 900lf of drill and shoot hard rock tunnel, 3 drop shafts, 6 cast in-place structures and over 1000 feet of 5×4 box culvert. All work done without interrupting flow of existing system.

 

14. USPS Expansion Project:7-Nov8-Sep,  The Korte Company, United States Post Office

Description of Work:Relocate 1800 feet of roadway including drainage, reataining walls, and detention bases. Also remove abandoned utilities , demolish existing structures, process and reuse material excavated on site. Also extend culvert for realignment of new roadway.

 

15. Stonehill College Science Center:7-Sep8-Oct, SLAMStonehill College

Description of Work:Relocation of 400 feet of gas and water utilities, 200 foot extension of sewer system, install bypass roadway. Install approximately 1500 feet of telecom and electrical duct banks.Relocate high voltage duct bank. Demolish and remove existing utilities within the footprint of the proposed building. Relocate and install new drainage and underground detention system for storm water runoff.

Description of Work:Excavate and dispose of hazardous material, install electrical duct banks, water, sewer and drainage. Also construct a temporary access road to site.

 

17. Fall River CSO Project:7-Jun8-Sep, CDMCity of Fall River

Description of Work:Construction of 335′ drill and shoot hard rock tunnel, two five feet diameter drop shafts 100′ deep with connection shafts to existing CSO tunnel. Project also includes the replacement of 60″ sewer main. Also forming, pouring and reinforcing 5 large cast in-place structures for directing thesurface flow into the drop shatfs, and reconstruct existing roadways.
